Yogurt Covers Downtown Tempe

As we previously posted here, the new wave of "good for you" yogurt shops (ala PinkBerry, Red Mango, etc.) have been looking at coming to downtown Tempe.  Now, it appears they are coming into town full force!  THREE new yogurt shops will be opening very soon!  It appears we will have the following hip yogurt shops to choose from in the very near future.  1. "Bliss" Yogurt at the Brickyard on Mill, 2. "IN Yogurt" at the corner of 5th Street and Mill Avenue. (By the way, we have some high hopes for INYogurt as it was created by the same folks who brought us "The Gelato Spot".)  3. "MOJO Yogurt" on Mill Avenue in what was formerly the Quizinos.  Yum... we can already taste the tart goodness and fresh toppings!

New construction at the corner of 5th & Mill will include "In Yogurt"

Mojo Yogurt

MOJO Yogurt under construction along Mill Avenue (old Quizinos) ads another Fro-Yo concept to Downtown Tempe.

Last time I checked, the landlord posted a notice on the door of the space essentially locking Yogurtini out of their space.  Can you confirm that they worked it out and they are now moving forward?

I am a tenant at the same shopping area as Yogurtini. They have had construction going on all last week, their permanent signs were installed and the owners said they were going to be open in a couple of weeks. There has been a lot of excitement and buzz around their shop.

Thanks for that Jill!  It looks like we will have 4, count 'em 4, new yogurt shops in the greater downtown Tempe area in a matter of a few months.

**UPDATE**  Bliss Yogurt at the Brickyard On Mill opened their doors today!  All "fro-yo" fanatics should check them out.  This is the first of the new style yogurt concepts to open along Mill Avenue, with many more to come.  As with most of the newer concepts, the Bliss Yogurt space is urban and contemporary with a loft-like style.  We especially like the sofa/lounge seating area with the flat screen TV turned "fireplace" or "fish tank"!

ha ha, good one eddie, you must be the owner, no one has tried mojo yet! ...we will see when we taste them all, mojo & bliss have the worst locations

Does not matter, these three will eat each other alive and one will stand. Mill Ave is empty these days since the theater left. Summer it is DEAD.

While visiting the newly opened MoJo Yogurt at Tempe Marketplace, we were informed that the Mojo Yogurt on Mill Avenue should be open and serving self-serve fro-yo goodness within about 2 weeks.

Mojo Yogurt on Mill Avenue in Tempe should be opening shortly.  Probably by Friday, February 6th or Monday, February 9th, 2009.  We've taken a peak into the new store and were thoroughly impressed by the modern finishes.  This self serve fro-yo space is sure to be a hit!
